Oran Kivity
Oran Kivity is a British acupuncturist, author, and book coach who helps practitioners turn their expertise into high-quality publications. With decades of clinical and writing experience, he founded Sayoshi Books to support authors in East Asian medicine through every step of the self-publishing process.
As an editor and consultant, Oran guides authors from manuscript to launch, ensuring professional standards and strong visibility. His own books—Moxa in Motion and Hirata Zone Therapy—have been praised in leading journals like JCM and NAJOM.
Trained in Europe, China and Japan, Oran has practised since 1987 and now lives in Taiwan, where he continues to coach, publish, and innovate in the field.
